  We have never gotten a less than stellar meal. We have gone with groups of family and friends and every one of the people we have gone there with has raved about their particular meal. The bragging about who had the better selection does get a little heavy.

  I would rate the food, but we left.
  
  The service was horrible. We were told it was slow because it was the busiest it has been "in two months" even though.
  
  We understood that much.
  
  Then people came in 20-25 minutes after us and were receiving bread. We already sat there for well over 45 minutes and hungry.
  
  Our waitress never even asked us if we wanted bread. That was the last straw. They will never receive our service. On to Hendersonville for lunch.

  The often overlooked Saluda Grade Cafe is a love you do not want to miss! Fun and creative dishes crafted from fresh local ingredients are our thing and the Cafe does not disappoint. Don’t go in for the over-rated Purple Onion. Give the Cafe a try and you will be glad you did!
